Why I offer writing services
Writing and creating content is my bread and butter service because it’s what I’m great at. A lot of people find writing to be challenging or difficult, and for me it comes pretty easy. I once was at a talk where a novelist compared writing to brain surgery. Writing a novel may be like brain surgery, but writing content shouldn’t be that hard.
I started MP Storytelling to help people better showcase and highlight themselves, their brand or their cause through well-written content crafted by a storyteller. I provide a convenient, holistic service that goes a long way to create an impactful story for you online and in the real world.
Another reason I offer writing services is because people tend to be stubborn with their writing. People want to do their own writing themselves, or don’t know that they can hire a professional to help them tell their story.
But writing is a . . . lot to think about. If, for instance, you need to write a blog post for your business, a newsletter, an email, or create social media content, all of those things take time. There’s a lot involved in crafting good writing, especially if we’re thinking about what we want to say and how we want to say it.
A lot of people find writing to be frustrating, or it’s another to-do on their list they can never get to. Most people don’t get excited about sitting down in front of their computer or with their phone to write content for their website, create a bio for themselves, or think of social media content.

- I have an MFA in Writing and Poetics and a PhD in English. For almost a decade, I researched, analyzed, and wrote about how to tell a genuine, authentic story that reaches our hearts and stays with us.
- I have 4+ years experience as a content editor and writer creating different types of content in various industries, becoming dedicated and skilled in the art of crafting compelling stories for businesses.

- Book a storytelling consultation – I’ll learn a little about you or your business and what you need help with. A no-pressure offer is made on the call.
- If yes, send/sign contract + payment
- Conduct consultation session(s) to gather the magic for telling your story
- Write, craft your content
- Revise (All my writing services come with 2 rounds of revision)
